If you want to talk to someone about your sexual health but feel more at ease with a phone conversation than face-to-face contact, you can:
- phone the Sexual Healthline on 1300 883 793
- or if you live in country South Australia - phone 1800 188 171 for free.
Sexual Healthline nurses are able to put you in contact with health services in your area if ongoing support is needed.

Support for children and young adults
Some facts about sex and your health can be found on the Children, Youth and Women's Health Service website.
If you are aged 12 to 25 years - phone the Youth Healthline confidential service on 1300 13 17 19 (local call cost from anywhere in South Australia). Young people can ring for information about health issues including:
- relationships
- sexual health
- sexuality and identity.
Victims of rape or sexual assault can also get support at SideStreet which also assists homeless young people.

Support for people with a disability
Sexual health education, resources and support for people with a disability and their parents, carers and workers are provided by SHine SA. A guide on friendships and dating can also be found on their website.

If you're a client of Disability Services you can phone 1300 786 117 or contact your local Disability Services office to speak to someone. Disability Services may be able to link you with support groups or health services in your area.

The disability library and information service can also help you to find publications on many disability-related topics. Loans are free of charge.
