The ALRM is an independent organisation governed by an all-Aboriginal board and has offices in Adelaide, Murray Bridge, Ceduna, Port Augusta and Port Lincoln.

Support for Aboriginal prisoners and families
The Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement (ALRM) offers the
Aboriginal Visitors Scheme to provide help and support to Aboriginal people who are in custody. It is an after hours service and run by volunteers.
The
Aboriginal Prisoners & Offenders Support Services offers support for Aboriginal prisoners’ partners and families and has branches in Adelaide, Mount Gambier, Port Augusta and Port Lincoln.
