Home modifications

The addition of things like ramps, support rails and non-slip surfaces can help to make life at home easier and safer for older people.

For information on who to contact to get help with home modifications see Help at home.

If you live in Housing SA accommodation, sometimes known as Housing Trust, you can get a special needs assessment if you need home modifications.

If you are applying for Housing SA accommodation, you should let them know of any special needs you have.

For more information see accessible housing.
