Adelaide has direct access by air from all Australian capital cities and some overseas countries.

Getting to and from Adelaide airport 

  • The airport is eight kilometres from the centre of the city of Adelaide, approximately 15-minute drive. Short-term and long-term parking is available.

  • Taxi transfers - Adelaide metropolitan taxi companies regularly service Adelaide Airport. There is a $2 levy on all taxi fares to the airport. The average fare from Adelaide city centre to the airport is AUD$15.

  • Bus transfers - The Adelaide Metro Jetbus travels between the airport and the City. The Skylink airport shuttle transits passengers between the airport, Adelaide central bus station and the Adelaide parklands train terminal at Keswick. 
     

Travel and tourism assistance at Adelaide airport

The South Australian Visitor & Travel Centre runs an information and booking centre in the main airport building. It is open for every domestic and international flight arrival, 365 days of the year.
