Child restraints - six months up to four years

Rearward or forward  facing child safety seat with inbuilt harness

chil drestraint 6 months to 4 years

Children grow at different rates between six months and four years. So children in this age group may use either:

Children in this age group must not travel in the front seat of a vehicle that has two or more rows of seats.

The restraint must be properly installed and adjusted to fit the child's body.

Because rearward-facing travel is safer, you should move your child to a forward-facing child safety seat only when they have reached the weight or length limit of their rearward-facing child restraint.
